August things and returned missionaries.

August was really fun!  There was a lot going on, but it was all really good!

The boys are doing really well!  Ammon is having so much fun walking, and is talking up a storm!  He is just loving life, and Michael is starting to really get along with him.  They play on Michael's bed together sometimes, and Michael likes to try to read to him (even though he can't read).

Chris and Ashley are now officially living with us for a few months.  The went job hunting and found jobs at Walmart.  Chris is graveyard and Ashley is early morning.  We all went to the splash pad together to celebrate getting through the business of July.  Chris made friends there with some of the kids and they started to follow him around the splash pad!  It was pretty funny.  They all wanted to play games with him.

Matthew and I were able to have a little date weekend thing.  We went to the wedding reception for Sam, a girl that I work with at Nu Skin.  It was a beautiful place!  If I ever have a daughter, Thanksgiving point is the place I think she should consider for her reception.  It was all taken care of by other people, the food was AMAZING! and everything was just perfect.  Matthew and I took a few pics while there.  And it was weird but a lot of the presents that people brought were wrapped in the same paper and the same bow!  It was funny!  We sat with Jill and Aaron, who are also friends of mine from work.  That same night we also went to see Suicide Squad, compliments of Nu Skin, and took Jeremiah and Alyna with us.  We ended up with extra tickets and made it into a sort of double date.  It was a great movie and the kids were down and asleep by the time we got home, which is pretty impressive.  Ashley and Chris babysat for us and they did a great job getting the kids down.  :)

The next weekend we decided to go up to Brigham City.  Matthew's mom was cleaning house, getting ready for Sister Eve Speikerman to come home from her mission!  It is so crazy how fast time flies!  I made cookies and cupcakes for the homecoming, and we were at the airport to meet her.  Michael was really excited to see Eve, and Ammon was excited to meet her for the first time.  I wrote and told her when he was born, but she forgot that he was acutally born on Canada day! Which made her super happy. :)  We all went as a family to eat at El Matadors, and we had almost everyone there!  It was a great day and we are so happy to have her home.  Her homecoming was lovely as well, and even though I had to work, we were still able to go up and be a part of everything.

We also were able to go to the temple with one of my best friends I've had since high school.  Jamie and Blake were able to take their adoptive sons to the temple to be sealed to them!  It was a wonderful day, and we are so happy that they were able to have this happen!
